Video Description

Our learner Michele is ready to go driving in the rain. Helping to get her feet wet is NRMA Safer Driving Instructor, Mark. Then with her father Bob, Michele learns that driving with a parent can be difficult at any age. Can Michele make it through the rain? Keep watching to find out.

Keeping it right as rain:
• Slow down and turn on your headlights so other drivers can see you
• Be more conscious of your surroundings and increase your distance from the car in front
• Use your wipers at an appropriate speed, and front and back demisters (if your car doesn't have a front demister – turn the air con on and point the fan to the windscreen on warm)
